Scholarship Applications

College is fast approaching and let's face it, college costs so much. So here I am completing essays for my college application form and one question had definitely got my interest. I do hope my answer fits the shoe!

Discuss a special attribute that sets you apart from others. Why does this make you special or unique? 

"I am that kind of kid that doesn’t settle for less than what I deserve, and work really hard for it. If I know that I have the sufficient capability to do a particular thing, I’d do it with all my best, because I don’t want anything mediocre. I want to always be able to look at any output I have, and say, “I had done my best on that”. I hate disappointing people who expect a lot from me and of my capabilities that’s why I make that as an inspiration to always be diligent and never let laziness creep in. In a generation where everyone wants to be this, or that and follow the trend, my guilty pleasure is to stand out by being myself and giving a lot of myself into my works, particularly when I write. In anything I do, I always see to it that the output is at its best form and condition. This makes me special because as I said, I hate to be part of the crowd. I want to be the performer on stage that the crowd has its attention on. I set myself apart from others because in a world of insecurities and self-doubt, I am the one who humbly believes in myself and in what I can do and offer.  And that belief just drives me into being the best version of me I can be."

Yep, I definitely won't settle for mediocrity. Explains all the pens hahaha
